OKC doctors are demonstrating that freedom works

OKC doctors are demonstrating that freedom works

You may not be aware of this, but there’s a significant movement beginning to take shape—a revolution in free-market medical care—and Oklahoma City figures prominently in it.

The Surgery Center of Oklahoma, founded by Dr. Keith Smith and Dr. Steven Lantier, has been the subject of news stories on KOCO, KWTV, and elsewhere. They take no government money. They practice price honesty and transparency (their prices are listed on their website). They treat medical refugees from Canada. All these topics and more are discussed in a fascinating interview this week on a podcast hosted by Lew Rockwell, chairman of the Ludwig von Mises Institute (and former editor of Private Practice magazine in Oklahoma City). I encourage you to listen to the 20-minute interview here.
