The problem is cost, not coverage

Oklahoma City physician Keith Smith has repeatedly made the point that “coverage” is by no means synonymous with “care.” He cautions any proud new recipient of a government health-care card to read the fine print: “This card gives you a right to hope for care,” or “This card gives you a right to die in line.”

OCPA’s Jonathan Small agrees. In a new column in the Oklahoma Gazette, Small says the Obamacare Medicaid expansion is a bad idea because the major problem in health care is not coverage for care, but rather the cost of care. We encourage you to read the article here.
