Former OKGOP Vice Chair Joins OCPA Staff
The Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs announced today that Estela Hernandez has joined the organization in the new role of vice president of engagement. Hernandez most recently served as vice chair of the Oklahoma Republican Party.
“Estela brings expertise in energizing and empowering others within the state,” said Jonathan Small, OCPA President. “She will help our organization continue to connect with Oklahomans around the state on a more personal level, and will play a key role as we try to broaden our reach throughout the state.”
As vice president of engagement, Hernandez will promote the mission and values of OCPA through building a new membership program and building relationships throughout Oklahoma’s communities.
“Estela is a respected leader in the community, known for her citizenship, compassion, and commitment to helping others,” said Dr. David Brown, OCPA Chairman. “Her passion for liberty will resonate with those across the state who share OCPA’s values.”
In addition to serving as vice chair for the Oklahoma Republican Party, Hernandez has been involved in the Oklahoma City Republican Women’s Club and Oklahoma County GOP, developing a successful community engagement program that builds relationships within the community and helps new citizens register to vote.
"In order to make Oklahoma a better place for future generations, it's important to focus on the public policy impacting individuals and families across the state,” said Hernandez. “Joining OCPA gives me a wonderful opportunity to use my passion for these issues to help all Oklahomans."
