OCPA Lost A Dear Friend
OCPA Lost A Dear Friend
The cause of liberty and free enterprise has lost a great soldier. As many have already heard, Lew Ward died of natural causes on Sunday at the age of 85. He was a great friend to OCPA and its mission during his many years serving on the Board of Trustees. Lew’s impact reached far beyond the oilfield. Throughout his life, he lent his influence and resources to the principles on which our nation was founded. His beliefs in free markets, limited government and individual responsibility impacted all of his actions, and Oklahoma was the better for it. We are honored to have known him, and our prayers are with his family.
