OCPA statement on Gov. Stitt’s executive orders

After Gov. Kevin Stitt issued executive orders on accountability and effectiveness, Jonathan Small, president of the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA), released the following statement:

“We commend Governor Kevin Stitt for fulfilling his promises to bring accountability and effectiveness to state government. Governor Stitt's executive orders today begin the much-needed work of breaking the stranglehold of special interests and the good ol' boy system that has reigned in Oklahoma. Today is a great day for taxpayers and those who depend on the effectiveness of state government.”
