MOVE SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS TO NOVEMBER OF EVEN YEARS!

Our school boards play a critical role in shaping the education and future of our children. They make decisions that impact everything from personnel to policy to budget allocations. Unfortunately, many school boards are not being held accountable due to low voter turnout and limited engagement in off-cycle elections.

By moving school board elections to November of even years, we can align them with the general election cycle, which historically has much higher voter participation. This change will ensure that more voices are heard, leading to more representative and accountable school boards.

Moving school board elections to November is long overdue. Contact your state legislators and ask them to pass legislation to move these elections to November of even years.
