Urge the Oklahoma City Council to deny SPUD-1839

The Oklahoma City Council is preparing to vote on SPUD-1839, a re-zoning and new proposed use of the Sleep Inn at 5200 Classen Cir. (on 51st St., near Western Ave.). For reference, this property is approximately 500 feet away from Bishop McGuinness school and directly next door to Classen Grill.

The Oklahoma City Planning Commission has approved a re-zoning of this property from its current use to a newly proposed homeless facility. The City Council now has to vote to approve this change, and that vote is currently anticipated for the City Council's September 15 meeting.

There are a magnitude of concerns regarding this proposed change, including safety issues, traffic issues, the highest and best use of the property, and more.
