VIDEO: Heritage Foundation president urges Oklahoma policymakers to be bold

Former U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, the new president of the Heritage Foundation, was recently in Oklahoma City to give the keynote address at OCPA’s annual Citizenship Award Dinner. I had an opportunity to speak with him beforehand, and in this four-minute video we discuss how competitive federalism is fueling transformative policy changes across the country; why it’s important for Oklahoma, which is center stage in the fight against Obamacare, to continue to fight the Medicaid expansion; and why intact married families are crucial for slowing the growth of the welfare state.
